Philadelphia Brewing Company
March 26th, 2008
The Bartons, formerly of Yards, formed their new brewery just recently in the same location as the “old” Yards brewery in the Kensington section of Philly. Boy have they done their homework. Easy drinking, quality beers are being produced in the city.
Try the Kenzinger, a mildly hopped ale that tastes like a light Vienna style lager (think of Brooklyn Lager light). The Walt Wit fulfills all the requirements of a Belgian style white and will go perfect with the days getting longer and temperatures REMAINING warm.
Yards should be looking out and taking notes, but somehow we think Mr. Kehoe will be up for the challenge!
