Dock Street Rye IPA
May 14th, 2008
Found this little gem at the Standard Tap in NoLib….Lots of hoppy depth for your palate. Pours dark amber and has some light citrus notes. I must acclaim the brewers for a really good mix of Simcoe and Amarillo hops. It just goes to show that a powerful ingredient like Simcoe hops can be blended to make something other than a knock your socks off IPA. The nice mix of hops gives it a very dry and refreshing taste….my kind of beer! Very impressed with the folks at revamped Dock St., well done!
